Configuring a Bridge Service

To create a new bridge service you will need to first log on to the Terminal Server that the customer is hosted on.

Navigate to the shortcuts folder for that customer.

You should see a shortcut called ‘HWebSVCManager-Install’ that was created when the shell was built. Double click the icon to install.

Open the Services control panel.

Start > Administrative Tools > Services

Navigate to HWEBBridge-{customer name}

Right click and select‘Properties’
Under the Log On tab check off ‘This account’ and enter HUDSONTS\BRIDGESVC in the field

Password = {contact tech support for this}

Confirm password = {as above}

Click OK and start the service.

Next run the bridge from the customer’s shortcuts folder and open to check it is working correctly.

Open your ticket system and select Monitoring from the Fast Info menu

Select Add and complete the following fields

Description = Bridge
Enabled? = Yes
Application = Bridge
Address = {IP address for the server the bridge is running on}
Port = {This can be obtained from the CRM}
Timeout (secs) = 10
Retries = 5
Email Freq = 10

All other fields can be left blank. Click OK
