View Error: Credit Card Status not Set...

Error:Credit Card Status not Set…

When processing credit cards using PC Charge, PRI, or other processor or connection type, the error message: "Credit Card status not set, reservation not marked paid, check" may appear.

This message usually indicates a connectivity problem between Hudson, PC Charge, PRI, and the Internet.  This message is returned when:

  • Hudson software can’t connect to PC Charge
  • PC Charge software can’t connect to the Internet
  • Hudson software can’t reach PRI via the Internet.

If using PC Charge:

First thing to check or confirm: Is the PC Charge software running?
Second thing to check or confirm: Is the machine running PC Charge able to connect to the Internet?
Third thing to check or confirm: Is the bank/processor available to accept transactions?

If using PRI:

First thing to check or confirm:  Can the PC processing cards access the Internet?
Second thing to check or confirm:  Is PRI having any problems accepting transactions?

If after answering the above questions and determining that all connections and services are running, contact Hudson Tech Support for assistance.
