Searching Passengers in HWeb Agent
Effective with HWeb Agent version 1.88, it is possible to search all Reservation records for not only the primary passenger name, but also for any additional passengers (alternate passengers) that appear as extra stops, (in the Name field) on a reservation. This addresses the issue when Sam Smith is listed as an extra stop on a reservation made under the primary passenger name Bill Williams. Previously, you had to know that Sam was travelling on Bill’s reservation; a search for Sam Smith would not return the desired results.
Now, you can Press the F3 (or Shift + F3) key within HWeb Agent to initiate a Reservation lookup. In the Find What box, you can use the following name search special characters by entering them before the name to customize the search:
examples:
Smith - returns all reservations where Smith is primary or (alternate passenger)
/Smith - returns all reservations where Smith is primary or (alternate passenger)
\Smith - returns all reservation where Smith is primary or (alternate passenger)
//Smith - returns all reservations where Primary Passenger name is Smith
\\Smith - returns all reservations where Primary Passenger name is Smith
If the search results return a name enclosed in Parentheses: (Smith), this indicates that the passenger name is listed as an alternate passenger, on an extra stop, within this reservation and is not the primary name that the reservation has been saved under.

* Some clients may have their system configured to by default, only do a search on a Last Name (Tools - Configuration - Advanced Features - Reservation: Find reservation last name only search). The special search characters above " \ " and " \\ " will override this setting when doing a name lookup.
