Service Extras - How to configure
Service extras are seen on the first page while making a reservation, commonly referred to as the “Fare and Availability” screen. Service Extras are typically items that may be provided to a client, upon request. These items may or may not carry a surcharge or fee. As examples:
Spring Water @ $2 per bottle
Snack / Food @ fixed $10
Newspaper, provided at no charge, but only when requested
All service extras can be changed under:
Configuration > General Configuration > Fare and Services > Service Extras Tab.
To add or change the name of a Service Extra, edit the CAPTION, replacing it with the name of the desired Service Extra.
Set the entry “type” as appropriate;
Yes/No - a simple yes or no is selected, and the charge is added as a single rate (if charges apply)
Value, Fixed Price - a numeric value can be entered and the price will be applied once
Value, price per item - a numeric value can be entered and the price will be applied per item
