Setting up GO Affiliate Accounts in Local and GO Web Systems


************FOR HUDSON INTERNAL TECH SUPPORT STAFF ONLY*************

After building an HWeb Reservation Manager site for a new GO member (Fares, Services and Locations will be pulled from here via Web Services), you need to configure the GO Local system and GO Web site to see and work with the new site. The steps below will allow you to complete this process.

3 Step process:
(after the client / affiliate Hudson Web Reservation Site is built, assuring that fares, locations and services are properly configured).


1) GO Local system
2) GO Site Configurations
3) Expression Engine (Website)

(3a) Add custom token PARTNER_EMAILLIST
(3b) GOSHUTTLE Profile in Local system



1 ) Setup in the GO Local 
Login to GO Local system at:  23.hudsonltd.net
  •     Locate and Launch GO Airport Shuttle HWeb Agent
  •     Create new profile
    •     General Tab
    •         Type=Affiliate
    •         Alias (web ID)=<SITEID> (e.g. HUDS1 - uppercase)
    •         Affiliate Type=Primary
    •         Sales Profile attached= 418483
    •     Billing Tab
    •         ClientID=142  (GO Airport Shuttle #)
    •     Affiliate Tab
    •         Web Services
      •             Site URL=<site URL> e.g. ltd10.hudsonltd.net
      •             SiteID= <site id> e.g.  huds1
      •             Reservation send mode=HWeb Zip
      •             Reservation pricing mode=Remote
      •             PUD translation=None
    •         Remote mapping
    •             Click "Retrieve remote data for mapping" button
        • Double Click the Affiliate Service field(s) and match up to the GO Local Services
        • Double click the Affiliate pass type and match up to the GO Children pass type (one alt pass type supported)
    •         Trans overrides
        • Insert into Dist overrides field:
                31^|32^|33^|45^GOSHUTTLE|57^3|120^|122^GOGROUP|188^
  •     Save Profile changes

Template Configuration

It will be necessary to adjust or edit
the template configuration in the GO local system to accommodate the new affiliate profile created. When Itinerary confirmations are
sent out from the GO local system, this will allow the itinerary to
identify who to contact regarding reservation details.

  • Tools > Configuration > Application Configuration > General Configuration > Templates
  • Add New Template
    • Alias= CustString
    • TemplateType= General Confirmation
    • Primary File= &:<pickup string text>
      • example: &:At Ronald Reagan National (DCA Airport) Walk outside.  Look for us directly in front of your baggage claim area.  Also, please note: if a 2nd curb is in front of you, crossover to it and look for us there. You can update us by calling 1-800-776-0323 too.
    • Description= <Affiliate Name>  ex: GO Airport Shuttle
    • Match Keys Tab >
      • Match Key4:  YA<profile ID number>
        • ex:  YA777888  (from affiliate profile created above)
      • Priority= 0
  • Add New Template
    • Alias= CustString3
    • TemplateType= General Confirmation
    • Primary File= &:<operator contact information>
       
      • example: &:GO The Airport Shuttle - 1-800-776-0323 http://www.goairportshuttle.com
    • Description= <Affiliate Name>  ex: GO Airport Shuttle

    • Match Keys Tab >

      • Match Key4:  YA<profile ID number>
        • ex:  YA777888  (from affiliate profile created above)
      • Priority= 0

2) GO Site Configuration:  http://www.goairportshuttle.com/configuration
        ( backup development site: http://ltd6.hudsonltd.net/godvl/configuration )
              
  •  SiteID:  enter new site id in the field (e.g. huds1) and select "Add site" button. Browse the listing and locate new site.
  •  Translations
    • Services: select provider service that matches the GO Services offered (Save when finished)
    •  Passenger types: select alternate passenger type matching GO Alt Passenger type (save when finished)
    •  Service Area:  Set short City name or other description of Service area
  • If this is a GO Attractions site (goatt#) then you must set the Atrractions ID:
 ***NOTE: setting and saving Service Area (step above) makes this site live on the GO Airportshuttle.com web site!

3) GO Airport Shuttle website update
Login to:  http://goairportshuttle.com/sys_underscore/
  • Publish Tab > New Provider Details Page
    • Title:  <Client Name>   (e.g.  Hudson Airport Transportation,  GO Hudson Airport Shuttle, etc.)
    • Site ID: <site id> (e.g. huds1, etc.)
    • Page Content:  recommend copying html from existing client page and pasting in this field.  Edit information values as needed.
  •     Options Tab > Status > Closed
    • Click "Quick Save" or "Submit" when finished.
    • When you wish the provider details page to be "live", open this page again and change  status = "Open" and  save / submit
The following two additional steps may be required depending upon the circumstances of the individual client deployment:
 
3a) Add user defined token to client web reservation site if the confirmations will be generated by the client web reservation site (and not the GO Airport Shuttle local system).
  •    Token Name:  PARTNER_EMAILLIST
  •    Description:  List of sending partner ID’s that trigger an email
  •    String: 142
3b)  If this is a GO Attractions site (goatt#): you will need to add the following custom tokens:
  • NETWORK_ATTRACT_IMG: Link to the Image / animated.gif file displayed on the GO Site    (ex: http://citysightsny.hudsonltd.net/images/csny2/csny2-Animation.gif)
  • NETWORK_ATTRACT_DESC: Text describing the ability to book attractions/ tours.   (ex:  While visiting Chicago, be sure to see world famous attractions not available anywhere else!  We are holding space just for you! Follow the link to make your reservation today!)

3c)  Add GO Airport Shuttle profile to clients Hudson Local System. If the client is using the Hudson Local system, this will create and link all GO Web reservations to a local GO Airport Shuttle Group Profile.
  •     HWeb Agent > Profiles > Create New
  •     Profile Type=Group
  •     Name: GOSHUTTLE
  •     PaymentType=Direct Bill
  •     Rules: Web Reservations Only (? - depending on client need)
  •     Save and Export to Web.


 


Troubleshooting:
Troubleshooting:
GO Bridges run on ts09.hudsonltd.net (Spring 2011)
“Bridge”  downloads reservation from GO Website to GO Local DB.
“Bridge-CL” = Client Center Bridge
“Bridge-RC” =
“Bridge-Send” = Sends Reservations OUT to Affiliate website
“Bridge-RT” = Real Time

If A “System Error” message appears on GO Web site when doing fare calculation and reservation detail entry, check the Fare and Arilines.csv’s for invalid characters.  The ” & ” symbol should not appear in a fare or airline file.

If the client/ Go Affiliate web site does not generate an email confirmation on web upload from GO local (and assuming the above configuration steps were followed) try copying the Ground Net Message Application onto the client web site.
Go to Server Tools/Utility Page according to server site is hosted on.

Copy Applications
Select site from drop list
enter “gnet_msg” into the App name field
Select Copy Script
