Updated Configuration Menu
Effective with version 1.90 of the Hudson local system suite, the configuration options menu, most commonly accessed by system administrators, has been redesigned and updated.
The menu is accessed from HWeb Agent, HWeb Dispatcher, and HWeb Admin by clicking "Tools" from the menu bar at the top of the application, and then selecting "Configuration" from the displayed options. The menu looked something like this:
As can be seen, the menu has grown to the point that it sometimes would not fit on a single screen and made some of the options difficult to see or select.
As can be seen in this image, the list of options is now much shorter:
Once you have selected the Application Configuration option, you are presented with a shorter menu of Configuration "categories" or types. When General Configuration is highlighted in the menu to the left, Buttons with coded icons appear in the matrix to the right. Fare & Services, and Advanced Features, the 2 most commonly used configuration areas are in the top row.
Selecting the Advanced Configuration menu item in the left column displays the buttons and which may be accessed:
