Troubleshooting Printing Problems on Hudson Hosted Servers

If you connect to Hudson’s state of the art hosted servers in order to run your applications and are having problems printing from one or more workstations, here are some preliminary steps to perform BEFORE you contact Hudson Tech Support.  Many print problems can be resolved on your own.


Troubleshooting steps:

     
  1. Ensure you can print locally. This means you can print from your local computer to your local printer without any problems. If you cannot print locally, you need to consult with your local IT or network support person / vendor.

  3. Ensure you have the latest Microsoft Remote Desktop client version. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969084
  4.  
  5. Apply the following patches (MS Windows XP only)
  6. If you can both print locally and you have the above patches already installed, then please contact Hudson Tech Support for further guidance/troubleshooting.
