Job description

This position will be working as a software developer implementing new projects to meet customer requirements and maintaining existing customer sites/databases. You must have the desire to learn and understand project requirements, and be able to successfully implement projects to completion.

Qualifications/Requirements

The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in CGI/Perl development, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. He or she will have excellent communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to work independently with little supervision and also be able to work in a team environment. An understanding of project development, attention to detail and consistency in code writing are required.

The successful candidate will also have significant experience with and understanding of:

• Perl and shell script programming for automation
• CGI
• Web Application Development
• Experience using MySQL databases
• Linux programming
• Apache, HTML, HTTP/HTTPS, JavaScript
• Experience with XML parsing
